Investors in People
Investors in People is a national accreditation that recognises businesses that train and develop their staff. Investors in People has grown to be the UK’s leading people management business improvement standard. TLH was the first Hotel Group in the UK to achieve IIP in 1992 and has been successfully re-assessed every 3 years since.
Excellence Through People
Excellence Through People is an accreditation awarded by the British Hospitality Association in recognition of a businesses positive approach to people management. TLH have successfully held the award for over 10 years.
National and Regional Training Awards Winners 2010
The National Training Awards are the UK’s most prestigious training awards. In 2010 TLH was successful in winning a Regional Award and also a UK National Training Award for our STARs Customer Service Training Programme
Springboard is a National body for the Hospitality Industry, their annual awards are very prominent and a great accolade. TLH has achieved the following awards:-
- Highly Commended Springboard UK’s People Innovation Award 2010
- Winners of Springboard UK’s ‘Best Employer’ Award 2004
- Runners-up of Springboard UK’s ‘Best Employer’ Award 2003

In March 2011 TLH won the ‘Large Employer of the Year Award’ and also the ‘Overall Winner Award’ in the South Devon Skills Awards.
