Alberts Bar – Entertainment News

As you have all probably heard Alberts is introducing a brand new entertainer. For those who have been to the Wednesday night quiz at Cider Press, you’ll know exactly who I am talking about. Ady Byng’s Game Show Road Show is coming to Albert’s, starting on Monday 7 June.

To kick-start this event Alberts will be holding a charitable event – Pig Racing. Money raised will be going towards Rowcroft. This will be a brilliant night especially with Byng’s over-the-top behaviour. There will be 8 races in total, so there will be 8 chances to win a big BIG prize! To sponsor a pig come to Alberts, choose your pig and put £2 towards charity. Then come watch the race live in Alberts bar. You can even bet on pigs on the night for a chance to win some cash.

The following Mondays Alberts will be hosting Ady Byng’s Game Show Road Show, where you guys will get the chance to play the ‘Pontoon or Bust’ game show. Could you handle going up on stage, competing against two other players and buzzing in to answer…. kids trivia questions ….for the chance to WIN? We will also be playing the ‘Open the Box’ game show with a special guest appearance from the Banker himself! Will your key open the box?? Or will it be a ROLLOVER!!

There will be drink promotions all night to co-inside with these events including £1.95 for a pint of Carlsberg/Tetleys, a glass of house wine and selected spirits.

This should be a fun, random, night for all  – NOT to be missed.

During the next couple of months Alberts will be playing host to the World Cup. To celebrate this event we now have 2 x 74” projector screens and 4 high quality 32” LCD HDTV’s, this combined with our brand new sound system should make this the best World Cup EVER! COME ON ENGLAND!!!!

Happy hour as always is between 5-7pm but has now been extended to 7days a week and we still want to see your smiling happy faces. We even have a new food menu on the way.
