TLH Bowling Team
TLH Leisure Resort has a dedicated ‘Bowling Team’ consisting of Sales, Terri Kennard, that’s me and Sarah Harris the Bowls Coordinator.    

We are both keen bowlers and with our years in the bowling community it gives us a unique insight into the wants and needs of bowlers from all disciplines.    

It is therefore understandable that TLH probably has the best array of Tournaments and Festivals in it calendar. All are professionally umpired and played on our championship standard indoor arena.

Autumn Bowling Break
This autumn we have designed a tournament for bowlers looking for genuine Devon flavour. The Taste of the West Triples is based in our 3* Carlton hotel from Sunday 17th to Friday 22nd October and will offer:   

• Cream tea.
• Devon cider tasting
• Devon cheese tasting and
• Dinner menus using the freshest and best of our local produce. 

It promises to be a bowling and dining delight.  

The Carlton Hotel is a small friendly hotel, which prides itself on its warm atmosphere. It’ll be a real treat of a week.

Christmas Bowling Break
How about a great Christmas Bowling break with friends or family. Designed for small groups and individuals this Festival is a seasonal delight. Included in all the Christmas fare is a chance to win some cash prizes for your club.

Short Matters
Short Mat bowling at TLH
TLH Leisure Resort offers short mat bowling throughout the winter season. Most of the tournaments are played on the arena, which is by far the best surface to bowl on. For social bowling, if there are just a few in your group, we can place mats on any one of our 5 beautiful ballroom floors. So, if these organised tournaments are not your thing, please give me a call to discuss other options available.   

Autumn Short Mat Festival
This festival takes place over a 7 night period and is based at our Derwent hotel. You can choose to come for a 3 night weekend or a 4 night midweek, or if you really love your bowls come for the duration.

Toorak Christmas Short Mat Bowling Festival.
This is a tournament that is great fun as well as having all the Christmas fare.Dates for 2010: Sunday 5th to Firday 10th Deceber. 5 nights from £190 based at our Toorak Hotel.
