Young Farmers in Torquay

As many of you will have undoubtedly heard we have had one of the best and busiest times a couple of weeks ago with Torquay being filled with roughly 4,000 Young Farmers coming down from all over England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland!

There were a lot of disputes about the Young Farmers coming down this year as they were on their final warning. However, myself and all other members of staff here at TLH have been singing their praises all weekend and still are now. I personally have had one of the best weekends of my life getting to know groups and individuals from Young Farmers; they were on their best behaviour all weekend with only a few harmless pranks on one another throughout the weekend.

As we all know these people love to drink and boy did they drink! They managed to close to other pubs due to lack of alcohol!! Albert’s on the other hand was on the ball as always and managed to keep supplying them with liquor in exchange for their amazing company and awesome atmosphere they supplied us with. 

All in all this weekend has been amazing and the team and myself can’t wait until the next time they come down!

Over the next month at Albert’s bar we will be continuing to bring you all the best live sport available on our 74” projector screen and 3 high quality 32” LCD HDTV’s this combined with our amazing, quality surround system you will think you were actually there! To top things off our happy hour between 5-7 Sunday through to Wednesday (we know it’s two hours but we want to make you really happy) and with our happy evening on Thursday, yes you read that correctly our happy EVENING, will keep you (and your wallets) happy all night! Just don’t blame us for the morning after!
