Festive Entertainment
There's an excellent choice of entertainment throughout the Festive Season, usually with a choice of venues in TLH Leisure Resort on most evenings, although not necessarily in the hotel where you are staying.
From 23 December until 2 January, you'll enjoy a packed programme of festive fun for all the family.
Traditional Christmas & New Year
Most of us love Christmas and the New Year - and you'll certainly be in good company when you join our celebrations here at TLH Leisure Resort. There's a sprinkling of magic throughout the whole of the festive season, with something for everyone. Daytime activities & leisure for all ages: A huge choice every day of the festive season together with full use of our outstanding indoor leisure facilities. 10-pin bowling; bowls drives; kurling; quizzes; race afternoons on Boxing Day and New Year's Day; short mat bowls; prize bingo; family wet 'n' wild; tea dances.
Night-time entertainment: A lively variety of music, dancing and cabaret with a choice of venues every night. The Starlight Lounge is the hub for families with nightly bingo, dancing to live music, visiting cabaret acts, family party dances and late night disco.
The Richmond Lounge in the Victoria Hotel hosts nightly music for adult dancing with a blend of social, ballroom and Latin and sequence.
Alberts Bar is ideal for an informal evening in our local pub including Karaoke and live music (selected evenings)
The Arlington or Riviera Lounges provide entertainment at a more relaxed pace with music for dancing, vocalist and quiz nights.
Daily Toby Club & TeenZone: Festive fun and games for our younger guests, plus activities for 10-15's.
Turkey & Tinsel
These mid-week breaks are the perfect solution if you can’t get away for Christmas or the New Year. All the days of the festive season are celebrated in one fun-packed short break with our usual programme of activities and entertainment together with a host of festive treats.
"Christmas Eve" - Monday: Christmas carols and a glass of mulled wine before candle-lit dinner.
"Christmas Day" - Tuesday: Afternoon tea with mince pies and a present from Father Christmas. Traditional Chrsitmas dinner with all the trimmings.
"Boxing Day" - Wednesday: Afternoon tea whilst watching our Entertainment Team perform their Festive Show.
"New Year's Eve" - Thursday:Pre-dinner glass of bubbly followed by candle-lit celebration dinner. Party night with dancing and spot prizes.
Winter Wonderland
Based at our Carlton and Toorak Hotels, enjoy the festive theme at a slightly more relaxed pace. Some of the entertainment and activities take place in the Starlight Lounge at the Derwent Hotel. These breaks take place on selected dates during November and December.
Festive Party Weekends
A great excuse to enjoy our lively party atmosphere and get together with friends and family.
"Christmas Eve" - Friday: Welcome reception with a glass of mulled wine and Christmas Carols, followed by dinner and our wonderful Christmas floorshow.
"Christmas Day" - Saturday: A packed programme of daytime activities including a visit from Santa and a free Christmas raffle. Saturday night is party night with traditional Christmas dinner and a superb evening’s entertainment.

Mr & Mrs R Webb - Bristol - Thanks to all your staff for the excellent manner in which you looked after us. A great time was had by us all. Being a magician myself the Saturday night cabaret of a comedy magician was of course the icing on the cake.
Philip Southwood - Nick, Zoe and the rest of the entertainment team are fantastic, my 5 year old loves them and so does my 12 year old, in fact so do I and my grandparents!! Just goes to show it suits all ages!!
