Bowling at TLH for Locals
Welcome
TLH Leisure Resort boasts a tournament-standard 4 rink indoor arena that is available for use by guests and local bowlers alike. Although we do not offer a membership to bowlers, we are happy for local bowlers to use the arena when it is not being used for pre-arranged matches or tournaments.

Bowls Arena Rink Hire
Due to our commitment to our residential guests, local bowlers can only hire rinks when the Arena is not being used for matches or tournaments. The actual rink availability varies on a weekly basis depending on how many touring sides are staying with us.

Local Winter League
During the months of October and April, TLH Leisure Resort runs a local Winter League with teams from Newton Abbot, Torquay, Paignton, Buckfastleigh and Kingsteignton already taking part.
We have three separate leagues that play matches on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7.00pm - 9.00pm. 14 matches are played during the six-month winter period, although we don't necessarily hold matches every week. Rink fees for the leagues are £2 per person. The winner and runner-up from each league, plus the two best 3rd placed teams go through to play in finals week.

Riviera Bowls Shop
The bowls shop at TLH Leisure Resort is run by Dave Vinnicombe and is situated next to the bowls arena. The opening hours are listed below:
Beginning of October – end of April:
Monday – Saturday 10am – 4pm
Beginning of May – end of September:
Monday – Saturday 9am – 1pm

- Everyone was very happy with their rooms...Their comments on the meals was that the food was excellent. They loved the afternoon teas. The entertainment was excellent. The staff on all levels were very helpful and made them feel very welcome.

Peter Slatford - Palmer Park Bowling Club - We had a lovely time at the hotel, both the bowling clubs made us very welcome. In fact the only thing wrong was that we did not stay for longer.
