Turkey & Tinsel Mid-week Breaks
These mid-week breaks are the perfect solution if you can’t get away for Christmas or the New Year. All the days of the festive season are celebrated in one fun-packed short break with our usual programme of activities and entertainment and a host of festive treats.
Christmas Eve - Monday
Christmas carols and a glass of mulled wine before candle-lit dinner
Christmas Day - Tuesday
Afternoon tea and mince pies plus a present from Father Christmas. Traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
Boxing Day - Wednesday
Afternoon tea and Christmas Showtime.
New Year's Eve - Thursday
Pre-dinner glass of bubbly followed by candle-lit celebration dinner. Party night with dancing and spot prizes
This is a typical programme and daily activities may vary slightly.
Winter Wonderland
Based at our 3 star Carlton and Toorak Hotels, enjoy the festive theme at a slightly more relaxed pace. Some of the entertainment and activities are based in the Starlight Lounge at the Derwent Hotel.
These breaks take place on selected mid-weeks during November & December.
Festive Party Weekends
A wonderful excuse for a get-together with friends and family. Arrive on “Christmas Eve” (Friday) and enter the festive spirit with a glass of mulled wine and Christmas carols, followed by dinner and our Christmas floorshow.
“Christmas Day” (Saturday) has a packed programme of daytime activities including a visit from Father Christmas and a free Christmas raffle. Saturday night is party night with traditional Christmas dinner and a superb evening’s entertainment.
Traditional Christmas Celebration
Christmas is always a magical season at TLH with a sparkling programme of entertainment and activities. Festive treats include traditional Christmas lunch, Boxing Day gala buffet and rinks receptions. Whether you join in all of the fun and games on offer, or you just want to sit back and be pampered, you’re guaranteed to have a memorable time. Our resident Entertainments Team put together an exciting programme of activities and entertainment with something to suit all tastes and ages.
3 or 4 night breaks are available.
New Year Party
Celebrate the New Year in style – you’ll be in excellent company at TLH. This popular break provides a fantastic party atmosphere and includes a special celebration dinner on New Year’s Eve together with traditional “Auld Lang Syne” and bubbly at midnight. There’s live entertainment in all hotels, and for dance enthusiasts popular Sid & Roz Gately host the celebrations at the Victoria Hotel.
2 or 3 night breaks include dinner, bed & breakfast and brunch on New Year’s Day.
Pre-Christmas & Twixtmas
These excellent value breaks are a wonderful opportunity to get away with family and friends in between Christmas and the New Year – or why not extend your festive break. A packed programme of entertainment and activities for all ages continues throughout.
