Argentine TangoArgentine Tango is an improvisatory dance originating from Argentina. Our host Fernando is young and dynamic with a great understanding & passion for this dance. He has a friendly, warm charm, a great sense of humour and teaches in a simple, clear a unique way. So get ready to have fun, learning and dancing this wonderful dance!

Ballroom & Latin Dancing Breaks

Ballroom & Latin Dancing HolidaysProbably one of the most popular forms of dance, most people will have heard of the popular waltz, tango, foxtrot, quickstep, samba, and cha cha cha - to name but a few. Our ballroom and latin hosts are often ex-competition dancers who have become dance teachers to share their passion with others.

Linedancing Holidays

Today, however, it is danced to a wide variety of music styles, both new and old. As long as it has a regular beat, you can line dance to it! Our holidays will keep you young, fit and healthy in a fun and friendly way. Suitable for all ages. Hosted by experienced dance instructors.

Scottish Dancing Breaks

Sequence Dancing Holidays

sequence dancingOur Modern Sequence dance breaks hosted by Brian & Hilary Powe, Ted & Elaine Kirby and Chris Booth are aimed at the more advanced dancer as they provide tuition in the new up and coming dances which may have only just been released with a mix of some of the more popular sequence dance favourites in their holidays. Richard and Carole Keeling and Chris Jackson offer social sequence dance breaks which may include dances such as Saunter Together, Mayfair Quickstep, Catherine Waltz and many others. Along with a mix of a little ballroom & Latin, line dancing and other dance types.

Salsa Dancing Breaks

It originates from the Cuba Son dancing of the 1920s, with strong influences from the dance of Danzon, Mambo and other Afro-Cuban dancing. Today's Salsa dancing is a rich blend of Latin-American and Western influences. Holidays at TLH are organised by the Latinfest Team who have built a reputation for hosting one of the best weekenders in the UK, with the emphasis on having fun. If you are looking for a salsa weekend that can provide you with a great program of workshops and fantastic music to dance to… then look no further.
All levels of dancer are welcome and if you are a complete beginner then don’t worry; we run a special course designed to have you dancing in no time.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Dancing Holidays

rock n roll dance holidaysRock Bottoms who run regular holidays throughout the year at TLH, specialise in Modern Jive, Lindy Hop, Tango and West Coast Swing. They’ll get you dancing every night (way into the early hours), yet somehow you'll spring into life the next day in anticipation of the excellent workshops brought to you by top UK and international teachers.
