The English Riviera welcomed bowlers from all parts of the UK and as far afield as Worcester, Wales and Jersey to participate in the friendly but competitive tournament held at Torquay’s three seafront host clubs. This year was the 26th Anniversary of the popular tournament which ran over an eight day period from Sunday 16 June to Saturday 23 June.
With more than 22 miles of coastline, Torbay is home to over 20 beaches and coves. This is a nice and simple alternative to a sandwich, you can make up in the morning, wrap it up and pop it in your bag ready for lunch time. It doesn’t need warming up so can be eaten on the go wherever you are! You make up a big batch of mince, keep it in the fridge and then you can put it in your wraps or heat it up with rice or a jacket potato for a nice easy hot meal.
