There’s no shortage of things to do in Torquay at this time of year, but to help you make the most of the summer holidays, we’ve compiled our own list of ideas which the whole family can enjoy here at TLH Leisure Resort.
Rainy Day Fun in Aztec Games
If the weather’s not great, head off to Aztec Games – 2000 square feet of wall-to-wall fun and games, with entertainment for all ages. Encourage a spot of friendly (or ferocious, if you’re like my family) competition with10 pin bowling, or archery. New for this summer is the F5 Vortex Redemption machine – fast and furious fun! And when you’ve worked up an appetite trying to catch the thousands of prize tickets swirling around the Vortex, why not try some tasty loaded nachos or fries from Aztec Games’ new Toppers Menu.
Traditional with a Twist
A brass band may not be your first thought when it comes to family friendly entertainment, but Torbay Brass, playing at the TLH Victoria Hotel are worth a look. The 4-piece band play a whole range of music from the classics to latest chart hits and are great fun. They have a regular slot at the hotel’s Windsor Bar every Sunday at 5pm throughout the summer. No need to book, just turn up and enjoy the brass band vibe!
Musicians, vocalists, karaoke and quiz night – it’s all happening at Torquay’s Alberts Bar this summer. Every night from 9pm, there is free live entertainment – and you don’t have to be a guest of TLH Leisure Resort to enjoy it. Along with their new tapas style offering and a good value main menu, Alberts makes a great evening out for locals and visitors alike.
Al Fresco Fun at the Aztec Bistro
We haven’t given up on our summer yet! We’re sure there’s still many more warm and dry evenings to come and when one strikes you want to make the most of it. The Aztec Bistro at TLH Leisure Resort has a spacious outdoor terrace with comfy chairs, parasols and patio heaters. With 2 for 1 dining on a Wednesday evening, new Funkin’ cocktails of offer and a range of tasty hand stretched pizzas. Every Thursday during the summer, guests and locals alike can enjoy outdoor entertainment from KB Sounds.

I've worked at TLH for longer than I care to dwell on but have seen so many changes it's been like working for 3 or 4 different companies! I am now in Marketing and am involved in spreading the word about how great TLH is!
