1. Is your accommodation ‘Good to Go’?
Our resort has been given the ‘Good To Go’ award by Visit Britain. It is the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
2. Contact your Accommodation Provider
Before you leave your home, it is worth checking your providers website or any emails they may have sent which will give clear instructions on what will be expected of you once you arrive. This may include checking in online or staggered checking in times. We will always send a pre-arrival email with lots of information about your stay and we welcome any questions you may have before you arrive.
3. Planning Ahead
We recommend that you plan ahead and research any activities or attractions you want to visit. A loose itinerary is always advised as there is so much to choose from in Torquay. The English Riviera web site is a great source of information.
4. Find Out Which Attractions are Open
Many attractions are now open but have introduced a booking only system to limit the number of people at their attractions at any time. Many of our attractions are based in the Devon countryside where you will have lots of space. There is a risk that if you visit without pre-booking that you may not be able to visit some or our more popular attractions. Check the English Riviera web site for a list of what’s open.
5. A Bite to Eat
Many restaurants will require you to make an advance online reservation. Our Aztec Bistro and Alberts Bar are asking people to book a table but it is not essential. Our Bistro Terrace and Alberts Terrace are both great open spaces to eat al fresco.
6. Using Public Transport
It is mandatory to wear face masks on public transport, this includes our Torquay Landtrain. With the seafront a 5 minute walk from the hotel, you can visit our beaches without the need for transport.
TLH Leisure Resort is renowned for its variety of leisure facilities. Now that restrictions have been lifted, we are able to open our indoor pool from 25th July. Hotels guests will need to book a slot and non-residents will need to use the GymSync app to request a slot. Our outdoor pool is for hotel guests only and although numbers will be restricted, you will not need to book.

Our Aztec Spa has now re-opened and from August 1st we will be able to offer our full range of treatments including facials. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind and treat yourself in the process! And as a hotel guest, you receive 15% off treatments!
