The health and well-being of our guests and our teams are of paramount importance and the following updates have been made with that in mind, whilst ensuring you have a wonderful stay with us.

Face Coverings

From 8th August 2020, it will be mandatory to wear face coverings in any indoor public areas around TLH Leisure Resort. These areas include

  • Hotel Receptions
  • The Starlight Lounge and other Lounges and Ballrooms
  • Aztec Games
  • Aztec Spa
  • All indoor corridors and walkways around the Resort. 

You do not need a face covering in our Restaurants and Bars where you are seated to eat and drink. You do not need to wear a face covering if you have a legitimate reason not to.

To prevent unneccesary delays and queues at Reception, we ask that your stay is paid in full prior to arrival. Please can you pay any outstanding balance before you arrive by contacting us on 01803 400500.

  • Please go to Reception to check-in as normal.
  • Glass screens are in place.
  • You will be asked to confirm that you and your party are free of Covid-19 symptoms and have not been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for the virus.
  • We ask that all guests please use the hand sanitiser available at Reception.
  • Social distancing markers and one-way routes are in place at Reception and throughout the complex.
  • You are encouraged to use the stairs where possible and not to share lifts with other guests
  • There is no luggage storage available on arrival or departure.

Your Room

Your Room
  • We will not be providing a daily housekeeping service but you can request additional towels or refreshment supplies by contacting Reception. However, for longer stays we will automaically change the linen on the 5th morning.
  • Your room will have been deep cleaned and sanitised prior to your arrival.
  • We use a disinfactant proven to be effective against the Covid-19 virus (Diversey D-10). This is used in the rooms and across the complex.
  • We want to avoid any TLH colleagues entering your room unless absolutley necessary. If you have a maintemence issue please contact Reception and we will arrange for someone to come to your room whilst it is vacant.
  • There are no leaflets or brochures in your room, but if you would like any additional information, please contact Reception.

Restaurants

Restaurants
  • Restaurants have been rearranged to ensure there is at least 1 metre between tables.
  • Tables will be allocated to guests with a maximum of 4 per table (or 5 for families).
  • You will be asked to take a seat and our waiting staff will take your order. There is no buffet service available at any time.
  • Waiting colleagues will be wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Flexible in-room dining options are available. Please contact reception for more information.

Bars

Bars
  • Hotel bars and Alberts Bar are open.
  • Alberts will be serving food and will have live football showing on its large screen TVs, including a new outdoor screen on the sun terrace.
  • We are operating a ‘seated to be served’ policy so please take a seat and a member of the team will come and take your order.
  • Card payment is preferred.
  • Bar colleagues will be wearing appropriate PPE.

Entertainment

Entertainment has always been a big part of your stay with us but unfortunately, due to the continuing Government restrictions, we are not yet able to offer our usual programme of indoor live entertainment. 

There will be nightly live music though taking place on the Aztec Bistro terrace and the Alberts terrace (outside Windsor Bar).

Around the Complex

Around the Complex
  • You will see social distance markers and one way systems in operation.
  • Hand sanitisers have been set up at key points, including receptions and at the entrance to restaurants and bars. Please do use them regularly.
  • All printed material, including brochures and leaflets have been removed from the public areas but please contact Reception if you would like some specific information.
  • To avoid unnecessary use of the public toilet facilities, please can in-house guests us their own room facilities wherever possible.

Aztec Leisure Facilities

Aztec Leisure Facilities

Our Aztec Leisure facilities are now open. These include the indoor pools and our Aztec Spa, Gym and Fitness Studio.

The indoor pools must be booked in advance. Guests can do this by contacting the Aztec Reception from their room on 1920.

Non-residents or Aztec members must download the GymSync App in order to prebook a swim or gym slot. More information on booking our pools can be found here.

The Steam Room and Sauna will remain closed until further notice.

Aztec Games is open for food and drink. The games machines will be operational but the soft play area and 10pin bowling will remain closed. Click on the link for more information. 

Aztec Bistro is open. Our tables are socially distanced and we have a one way system through the Bistro. Our outdoor seating areas with new furniture, large parasols and patio heaters are perfect for al fresco, socially distanced relaxing. Click on the link for more information.

Aztec Spa

Our Beauty Therapists will be wearing masks, gloves and aprons where appropriate. 

  • In light of the continuing of Government restrictions, we are still unable to offer any facial treatments in the Spa. All other treatments are available. 
  • The relaxation area, complimentary drinks or robes are currently unavailable.
  • We ask you not to arrive any earlier than ten minutes before your appointment is due to start.
  • Guests will need to come alone to their appointments.

Aztec Club Members

Aztec Club Members

The Aztec Gym, Pool and Studio are now open. We are offering a 25% discount to Club members for the first two months. For customers who have annual memberships, an extension will be implemented to reflect any periods of closure.

Members will need to pre-book a gym or pool session using the GymSync App. Full details on how you do this can be found here.

All our sun terraces are available to use. Sun loungers have been carefully placed in our outdoor areas giving you a chance to relax, unwind and enjoy your stay with us in the fresh air.

Outdoor play areas are open, including:

  • Children’s outdoor play area
  • Adventure playground
  • Climbing wall
