If anyone is looking 4 a great hol 4 all the family ,look no further than TLH Torquay,this is our 2nd year and hopefully next year will be our 3rd. There's so much to do,the staff are so helpful and polite,the rooms are of a good standard and the food is wonderful with plenty of choice. Good value for money.

We took a gamble on TLH for the 1st time. And it certainly paid off. We were very impressed.The rooms were clean and comfy and the food was very good value. The swimming pools,gym and entertainment was excellant,and it was so near to all the attractions of Torquay, my favourite being the Paignton to Dartmouth railway and Cockington Village. Our hotel was the Derwent.

We have stayed at this hotel for 12-years, twice a year, as a party of 100+. Until this year we've not been online, but are now. For all our visits especially this latest one, thank you very much. The staff as always are kindly and helpful with a little humour and fun to help good relations. The breakfast and evening meal is always appertising and hot and with numerous choices. All rooms are accesible by lift, plenty of rooms have a sea view. The buses are just outside and the train station nearby ready for excursions. All round this is therefore a great hotel. Once again thank you.

We have been coming to TLH for over 30years (when we first came there was only the derwent and victoria). We have stayed in all the hotels and appartments and have introduced all our family, children, grandchildren and many friends. We will continue coming back, at least 3 times a year because we know we will get excellent value friendly faces, exceptional food and an all round good time.

We have been to Torquay many times but this was the first time that we have stayed at the TLH leisure resort and what a pleasure it was . The room & the staff were first class & the food was even better. We would and already have recomended this place to other people & will be booking another stay when we are next in Torquay.

We came to the Toorak as guests of my wife's aunt and uncle(Pat & Tom Briggs) who were celebrating their Diamond Wedding anniversary and are regular visitors. We had such a wonderful weekend that we had to let you know. What an amazing menu your chef produced for this special occasion. The staff were so polite and ready to help to make our stay enjoyable. The facilities were amazing, and with members of our party ranging from 1yr to 80yrs there was something for everyone to enjoy. This is our 3rd stay at your hotel and we will be back. Thank you for making Pat and Tom's Anniversary so very special.

I've been coming here for years but this is the first of hopefully many stays with my children. The weather was not that great but that doesn't matter if you stay here. They were extremely impressed with the Aztec pool and Arena games. The food was as good as ever and even my 6 year old cleared her plate at every meal! They enjoyed it so much that we had tears when we had to leave !!! We will be back.

We have been visiting tlh for a few years now with our family and always stay at the Derwent, we always have a fantastic time.we only stay for weekend breaks but would love to be able to stay longer. the staff are fantastic nothing is too much trouble everyone is so friendly, the food is always brillliant with plenty of choice for all.we cant wait to stay again this year.

Having visited The Victoria now for the past three years to-gether with a group of over 50's (40 in all) everything was wonderful, excellent food, first class entertainment and the most wonderful staff who made the whole five days memorable, that's why we keep coming.

I have been visiting the Toorak hotel with the Landsend John o' Groats Association since 1998, I can say in all honesty I have never had cause to complain once. Nigel and Suzi Beck, along with their staff, do a fantastic job every year keeping the customers happy. I even tried talking "Anna" at reception into having a go on a unicycle that one of our members had brought along, she declined the invitation. This year I brought my family along with me all 13 of us, on our departure day my 4 year old great grandson Morgan stood at the top of the stairs and refused to budge, he did not wish to go home and wanted to stay put, I think that summed up my whole families feelings. I look forward to many more happy years at this fantastic hotel made even better by the fantastic staff, THANK YOU

We have been coming here on and off for years for w/end breaks.They have always been great.This time we stayed in the Victoria Apts for Christmas.It was excellent.Staff,Apartment,food,entertainment,everything was brilliant.Will definitely be coming back again.Every one worked so hard to make it a christmas to remember,A big Thank you to Tina Priest at the Victoria for all her hard work.

We have been to to the Dewent many times before but this time we chose to spend the New Year at the Toorak. We were treated like royalty, every member of staff was extremely polite, caring and helpful, the food was out of this world, and the room (standard plus) was brilliant the bed was over 2 metres wide, we liked it so much we have already booked for next year. Keep up the good work you are "simply the best !!!

Staff excellent, Rooms very warm, clean, ample towels and hot water. Tea coffee very nice. Dining room and all rooms very clean, dining room staff would help in any way possible.Pool and games room best I have seen. Food good choice and plenty of it.O/A I would give it 10 out of 10. Thank you all for a brilliant stay.

Had wonderful time at Toorak Hotel. Facilities are excellent and the food and service in the restaurant are first class. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Pool is brilliant, and there is something for every family member. My son aged 11 loved it and spent a lot of time with the entertainments team and remembered Tom from the entertainments team saying his birthday was on the day the Berlin Wall came down and he would like to wish Tom a Happy Birthday from Jamie Duggan alias Emma Cowell. Will be back soon.

Stayed in the Toorak hotel excellent service (Sam in the restaurant) food was first class. will be coming back for a second visit recommend this to all even the sun was out for the 4days we were there.

Wow,what a fab holiday resort!! Had a brill time all fourteen of us and we are already looking to book again(only been back three days)!! Everyone very helpfull and polite,food was amazing in the Victoria Hotel,well everthing was! All children rated the holiday 10/10 and so did the adults. Very special place indeed!!

We thought the hotel was brilliant, it was spotless and the food was marvellous. You couldnt fault the staff, they were very efficient. The rooms were good too, the bathrooms were very claean. We had an excellent 5 days stay, and will be coming back to visit again.

Just come home from staying at the Derwent. My daughter was 4years old when we first started holidaying at TLH and she is 15 years old this year. It's a great place to enjoy time spent with the family. Special mention for Kevin of KB sounds who entertains the crowd so well!! and the food in the restaurant was just first class! Can't believe the Derwent is only a 2 star rating as it should be more. We will definitely be back!

I have been to all the hotels. Im only 13 and nearly every year i have been. I am going again in two days and i cant wait. The entertainment is amazing and the staff are extremely friendly. I suggest this hotel to anyone and it so one of the best hotels i have been to. Thank you very much for the enjoyable stay and cant wait to go again in a few more days. Ps. The food is great.

I have been coming here for years now. All the staff are so friendly and the food is great to! A big shout out to all the entertainments team but especially Nick and Tom. When my dad was rushed to hospital with a minor heart attack, all the staff were so friendly, especially the entertainment team. They were so supportive and when he came out of hospital, they all came up to us and had a chat with him. I have never met so friendly people than at this hotel. We have already booked to go next year!

We had a fantastic time staying at the Toorak, even though the weather was poor there was lots for my children to do in the hotel. The staff were fantastic couldn't have done more or been nicer, especially the food and beverage manager. Food and accommodation were lovely and I will definitley be returning for another visit in the future.

Just returned from a fab time at the Toorak. Loads to do for all ages which was a bonus considering the naff weather. The staff really go out their way for you. The food in the restarant was amazing. Also the spa was just fabby. Would recommend the complex to anyone.

My self and husband and his parents, brother and partner have been staying at the Derwent since our eldest daughter was about 3yrs old, she is now a teenager. The Derwent team has watched our family grow to 3 children. And this year our new nephew of 5mths is the lastest addition to the Porter family. We absolutely love coming to Torquay the TLH hotels are fab, the food is brill and so are the team of staff at TLH. Im sure we will have many many more holiday with yourself TLH . We have just returned home after a weekend break at the Carlton and we would just like to thank you all. We have 15 month old baby twins which partied in the Starlight Lounge till way past their bedtime. The hotel,complex facilities,food and staff were all superb the only thing that was not so good was the weather! but you can't have everything.

Next year (2010) will be our 25th year staying at TLH. We began by staying in the Derwent but most years have been in The Toorak. Nigel Beck and his hard working friendly staff ensure that every year our stay is memorable for all the right reasons, special mention to Suzi Beck who handles our group booking every year and for who no request seems too trivial. We attend on the third weekend of January each year for our Presentation weekend, the food, accomodation and facilities are first class, we look forward to visiting for many more years to come.

Stayed in R309-first two days with the RAF Police 25th Ann'l Reunion then a holiday extn to 5 May 2009.Great service, great value,first class staff and scrumy food.Total professionalism from the staff from Liz the maid to Barrington the Rest't Mgr-attentive,co-operative,helpful,caring (especially with the Blind guests),smart at all times,friendly and genuinely interested in the guests. They really are- 'FIRST AMONGST EQUALS' and should be proud of themselves as should the hotel management-you have got it right-long may you reign in Torquay, VICTORIA.

Have tried all the hotels and found them all to be excellent ,great for a short break ,the staff are wonderful, and the aztec pool is a real draw,entertainment is very good ,and the food is first class.We stayed at the Carlton and it exceeded all our expectations .We will be coming back again this year.
