Parking
IMPORTANT – Improvements to Our Parking Facilities
We are pleased to announce that the TLH Derwent car park is undergoing a significant upgrade to improve its structure and surfaces. While we are working hard to minimize any inconvenience, please note the following temporary changes:
- Closure: Starting Monday 20th April, the TLH Derwent car park (beyond the height restriction barrier) will be closed until Friday 19th June (provisional date).
- Available Parking: All other TLH car parks remain open as usual. You can still park in the areas accessed via Chestnut Avenue, the TLH Carlton Hotel frontage, and the front section of the TLH Derwent Hotel car park (up to the barrier).
Parking Information for Your Hotel
TLH Carlton guests
There are 31 parking spaces in front of and beside the hotel entrance. If these are full, please use the TLH Victoria car park on Chestnut Avenue:
- Follow the red route on the map below
- Turn right from the TLH Carlton entrance onto Falkland Road
- Turn right at the traffic lights
- Turn right again into Chestnut Avenue, by Alberts Bar (please note this is a one-way road)
- The TLH Victoria car park is on your right
You may unload luggage outside the TLH Carlton before parking. Follow resort signs back to reception.
TLH Derwent guests
You can unload luggage in the TLH Victoria entrance car park, next to the TLH Derwent main entrance. Lift access is available to reception from the street level TLH Derwent Hotel entrance.
After unloading:
- Follow the blue route on the map below
- Exit the car park on to Belgrave Road
- Turn right, then right again into Chestnut Avenue
- Use the larger TLH Victoria car park on your right
TLH Victoria & Toorak guests
Please park as normal in the TLH Victoria or TLH Toorak car parks.

Please note car parking charges now apply.
To avoid the growing misuse of our car parks, due to the introduction of charging by our competitors and in line with other local hotels, we have introduced parking charges and ANPR cameras to all of our car parks. Our car parks our now fully managed by Parking Eye Ltd. Please see the Terms and Conditions of parking on the signage within the car parks. Any contravention will be enforced by ParkingEye Ltd, an external British Parking Association provider.
A 30 minute drop off/collection period applies on entrance to our car parks. Your vehicle must exit the car park within 30 minutes of arrival to avoid any charges being made. PARKING CHARGES INFORMATION >

Check-In
- To secure your booking, we ask that your stay is paid in full prior to arrival. To pay any outstanding balance please contact our Reservations Team on 01803 400500.
- Hotel rooms are available from 3.00pm. Self-catering apartments are available from 4.00pm. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to use our facilities until your room/apartment is ready.
- Luggage storage will be available if required.
Your Room
- Please note that your room will be serviced every day except for Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- If you would prefer Housekeeping not to service your room please hang the ‘Do Not Disturb’ notice on your door. You can ask for any additional things that you need such as fresh towels or tea and coffee at reception.
- On the day of your departure rooms need to be vacated by 11.00am. Self-catering apartments by 10.00am. Facilities are chargeable after your scheduled departure time. Book a late check-out to make the most of our facilities before your journey home.
Dining
- Each hotel offers an extensive breakfast buffet.
- Evening dining is now buffet style at the TLH Derwent, TLH Victoria & TLH Carlton Hotels, with a range of tasty hot and cold options on offer.
- Dinner is served from 6.00pm until 8.00pm in each hotel, although occasionally this may need to change. If this is the case we will contact you before arrival. If you are likely to arrive too late for dinner, please let us know and we can arrange for an alternative option.
- If you’re a Bed and Breakfast guest you can dine in the hotel restaurants at a very special TLH Meal Saver rate. Simply book your table direct with the hotel.
Adults: TLH Derwent, TLH Victoria and TLH Carlton Hotels – £20 per adult. TLH Toorak Hotel – £23 per adult.
Children (all hotels): 11 – 15 years: £10, 3 – 10 years: £5; 2s and under eat for FREE.
- If you’re staying on a Room Only basis, you can also add breakfast to your stay. Enjoy buffet style breakfasts, including both full English and Continental options. Book your table direct with the hotel. Breakfast prices: Adults £12.95, Children & Teens 3 – 15 years £7.95 and Children 2 and under FREE.

Aztec Leisure
Aztec Spa – Hotel guests receive a 15% discount of any individual spa treatment over £30. Book before you arrive to avoid disappointment. Call Aztec Reception on 01803 400190 or email [email protected] to book.
Aztec Spa Fire & Ice – Hotel guests receive a discount off a 60-minute session. Book in advance by calling 01803 400190 or book when you arrive.
Aztec Bistro – Dine al fresco under our awning and large heated parasols. Choose from a wide range of light bites, main meals and a great drinks menu.
Aztec Pools – Open daily from 7am – 9pm, our Aztec pools are free for guests to use. There is no need to book in advance. You will need to bring your own pool towels or they can be hired for £2.
Aztec Gym – Open daily from 7am – 9pm. No need to book. Prices from £3pp.
Aztec Games – 10 pin bowling, table tennis, snooker, pool, soft play and arcade games are all waiting for you.
Entertainment
You can enjoy a fantastic array of entertainment at TLH. Not only do we have live acts every single night of the year, but there’s a busy daytime programme of activities available too!
