Hosts
The holidays hosted by Richard & Carole here at TLH are regularly enjoyed by experienced sequence dancers. Richard started playing music for sequence and ballroom dancing in the early 70’s, having started in and around his hometown of Derby, whilst still at school. Friends within the dancing circle persuaded him to send a demo disc to Maestro Records and his music has quickly become well known and enjoyed throughout the U.K.
Married to Carole since 1979, the family have always had a love of all types of music and many of the tracks on Richard’s CDs start out as ideas discussed between them, particularly with Carole who sings the very popular vocal tracks “The Boy Does Nothing” and “Could I Have This Dance”. Carole qualified as a dance teacher in 2012 and along with Richard has been organising and hosting dance events all over the UK for many years.
