Latin in Line Dance Break
Release your inner Strictly and join Louise Sampson with Mandy Helliker on this exciting Latin in Line dance break in Torquay, where unique solo dances are choreographed for you to learn. You will learn routines from the Cha Cha Cha, Rhumba, Samba, Mambo and Salsa.
The break is aimed at beginners but some dance experience will help and complete beginners are also welcome. If you’ve always wanted to dance but don’t have a dance partner, then this break is ideal. Or you could bring a friend or your partner too and learn to Latin in Line together.
More about your hosts
During her career, Louise has successfully trained new professionals in Ballroom and Classical Sequence. Her pupils enter both open and medallist competitions. Louise is proud to have trained ISTD Blackpool Finalists and Open Ranked Competitors across different age categories and genres. In addition to teaching, Louise has successfully organised a variety of events at home and abroad including Dance Holidays, Seasonal Balls and Competitions.

8.30pm: Introduction to Latin in Line with easy routines in the Richmond Ballroom
Tuesday
8.00-9.30am: Breakfast is served in the Restaurant
10.00-12.00noon: * Dance Workshop in the Richmond Ballroom
6.00pm: Dinner is served in the Restaurant
8.00pm: Latin in Line evening in the Richmond Ballroom
Wednesday
8.00-9.30am: Breakfast is served in the Restaurant
Free day to explore the area or use the superb facilities at TLH
6.00pm: Dinner is served in the Restaurant
8.00pm: Latin in Line evening in the Richmond Ballroom
Thursday
8.00-9.30am: Breakfast is served in the Restaurant
10.00am-12.00noon: * Dance Workshop in the Richmond Ballroom

8.00pm: Latin in Line evening in the Richmond Ballroom. Dress up night – wear your favourite party outfit (no long dresses)

I’ve just experienced my very first Latin in Line dance break and it was great. As an absolute beginner but with a love of Latin music this was perfect for me as a solo dancer. Louise and Mandy taught the steps at just the right pace, and in a fun way, so by the end of the week I really felt that I had learned so much. Everyone on the break was really friendly – I’ll definitely book again
