About your hosts
John and Linda West of Holiday and Dance were British over 50s Latin Champions for 2007 and 2008, retiring undefeated in 2009. They were top of the EADA Senior II Latin chart for 2 years until retiring and were placed in the top 6 of the EADA Senior I Latin chart for several years. Regular finalists in the UK Closed Senior 1 Latin. Winners of Stars of the Future. ITDA and UKA qualified.
They trained with the top Latin and ballroom coaches in England, starting at the Dennis Drew Studio in Manor Park many years ago, and then joining Western Dance School in Rayleigh, taking part in the Supadance League for several years before competing on the “Open Circuit”.

10.30-12.30pm Dance Workshop in the Ballroom – It is possible the session may be split in to two groups in order to benefit different levels of experience and everyone’s enjoyment (each session would not be less than one hour)
6.00pm Dinner is served in the Restaurant
8.45-10.45pm Music & dance with revision and an introduction to a sequence dance

Hosts
Although retired from the world of competition dancing, John and Linda West are regular hosts here at TLH. They also run regular classes each week in their home county of Essex, along with practice sessions, tea dances and social dancing.
