As a Hotel Duty Manager, you will have previous Management or Supervisory experience with a passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the Hotel operations whilst the General Manager is absent, including early mornings, evenings and weekends. Hospitality and Food Hygiene qualifications are desirable, but experience is essential. A candidate with considerable departmental experience would also be considered.
Your responsibilities will include:
- The overseeing of the hotel operation whilst on duty
- To support resourcing requirements, being involved with the interview, selection and recruitment
- Build and maintain good morale, a happy atmosphere to ensure a pleasant working environment for the Hotel department teams and our guests
- Facilitate effective communication with team members, to nurture motivation and great team working
- To assist the General Manager in ensuring that safe working practices are being maintained, being responsible for Hotel Risk Assessments and the monitoring of Health & Safety

Hours and Rate of pay:
Temporary contract until October 2026 – 40 hours over 5 days, covering a mix of early and late shifts including weekends on occasion.
Salary: £27,872 per annum
