We are looking for a dedicated Grounds Person to maintain all outside areas across our resort, including gardens, terraces, play areas, car parks and the external facilities of all four hotels. This role is key to ensuring our grounds remain welcoming, safe and attractive for guests and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Working across all four hotels and the wider resort grounds, ensuring all outdoor facilities and external areas are maintained to a high standard.
- Carrying out general garden maintenance, including grass cutting, weeding, watering, pruning and managing plant growth.
- Maintaining the presentation of flowerbeds, rockeries and planted areas.
- Operating garden tools and machinery safely and correctly.
- Following all Health & Safety procedures, including completing safety checks on equipment and ensuring safe working practices.
- Reporting to the Property and Maintenance Team.

- Able to maintain high standards across all outdoor areas, with a strong and reliable work ethic.
- Confident in using garden tools and machinery safely and correctly.
- Well‑organised, with good time‑management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks independently.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Friendly and approachable, with good people skills and a commitment to providing helpful customer service.
- Thoughtful about the environment and the impact of their work on the resort grounds and customers and their property.

Hours and rate of pay
The role will involve 24 hours per week, hours and days can be arranged, but must be prepared to do a mix of days to suit business needs, inclusive of weekends.
The role involves early starts from 7am and late finishes up to 9pm.
Hourly Rate: £13 per hour (must be 18+)
