As a Group Bookings Co-ordinator, you will be part of our Group Reservations team in a back of house office-based role within our Sales & Marketing department. The successful candidate must be a customer service superstar with excellent communication, attention to detail and organisational skills.
An understanding of Reservations or Hotel Booking Systems would be an advantage.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Entering group bookings onto the system and processing deposits
- Effectively communicating with group organisers in a timely fashion via email and telephone
- Entering final rooming lists and completing group resume
- Creating a final invoice and sending it out in line with the contract
- Chasing and posting payments ensuring all groups are fully paid prior to arrival unless credit terms are agreed
- Managing the rebook process maximising customer retention
- Booking, invoicing and managing conference and function bookings
- Meeting group organisers when requested
- Maintaining an excellent understanding of the additional services/products available
- Strong administration skills with a proven track record of using Microsoft Office is essential

Hours and Rate of pay:
This is a full-time permanent role of 37.5 hours over 5 days.
Please note: this role is office-based and the office opening hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm.
Salary: £24,375 per annum
