…TLH Dance Holiday was so much better. The tuition/lessons was excellent. As it was a solo’s holiday I did wonder if it would be gender balanced. No worries there – local male dancers were enlisted and drafted in to entertain the solo ladies. Result!

We are regular holiday guests to TLH. We booked a Spa birthday present treatment for mum.

We enjoyed every moment. Lovely setting with friendly staff to welcome you. Body massage recommended. Totally relaxing and looked after very well.

As a family we love TLH, the staff are excellent in every department. Great food and fantastic facilities all on site, which is great for a family break.

We visited in July for 3 nights as a large family group. All guests thoroughly enjoyed the stay and it was great to see the young ones trying new food. Our biggest issue was deciding what to do at night, let the little ones play or visit the starlight lounge. Thank you to Tina and all her team for making the stay so enjoyable.

We got married in the beautiful grounds of the Toorak Hotel. It was a truly magical day for both us, the venue was fantastic and the food was exceptional. The Arlington suite where we had our wedding breakfast was just perfect and the tables all looked breath-taking. Thanks to all the staff and management who helped our day go with a bang. We would definitely recommend TLH as a great place to get married.

We have been visiting TLH Hotels for a number of years, particularly the Derwent. The Aztec pool and Spa are fabulous and the hotel is not too far from the town and harbour. Overall we’ve had a lovely relaxing pre- Christmas stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The buffet mains with the pie selection was perfect, I spoke to the chef’s and every night there were great options of what to have. We opted for the single Sunday deal and it was great there was nothing to fault, my trip was so special.

This was our first visit to TLH Leisure Resort staying in an apartment in the TLH Victoria Hotel and you did not disappoint. We all had a fantastic holiday with amazing facilities lots to do for every age. Such a fantastic base to explore Torquay and the surrounding areas with the beach in walking distance. Highly recommend and will definitely be back for another visit.

Have been holidaying with my grandchildren for the past 5 years at TLH hotels, plenty to do and the children loved the indoor pool. Lots of places to visit in and around Torquay. As we come by train, it’s really easy to get to the hotel from the train station. Great bunch of staff and excellent entertainment. Thank you TLH.

The last visit was my FIFTH and I plan to come and visit many more times, as I think you offer excellent value for money stays.

Fire and Ice, they complement each other perfectly. The refreshing ice shower was just what we needed after the sweltering sauna. Thank you Aztec Spa for a fabulous afternoon with friends.

Another great holiday. We have been visiting the TLH for the last 38 years, I bring my children and grandchildren to the TLH Carlton and TLH Derwent Hotels but this was our first stay in the TLH Toorak Hotel which is great for adults. Nice comfortable rooms and lovely food.

We’ve stayed at TLH Carlton Hotel a number of times and can recommend it. The staff are so welcoming and friendly , they go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The rooms are very clean, the restaurant staff are very efficient and helpful. The food is good and tasty, we will definitely be returning.

Whilst in Torquay this weekend our husbands played chess, my friend and I had booked a spa day with you and what an experience it was. Absolutely wonderful, the staff were really nice and helpful and the facilities were first class. We loved the steam room and jacuzzi. We had facials, Fire & Experience and lunch, which was all first class! Thank you so much, we loved it and will definitely be returning.

A night at Alberts Bar is a great way to blow off some steam with our team, after a long holiday season. I love the bright and open bar and relaxed atmosphere. Of course, the team discount makes it even more enjoyable!

Being able to use such a nice facility after work really gives you something to look forward to at the end of a long shift. I love the heated loungers and hydropool. They make me feel so relaxed.

We had a great Easter weekend in the TLH Derwent Hotel. We made full use of the facilities which included swimming, arcades, kids club and best of all relaxing with a drink or two on the outdoor terrace at the Aztec Bistro. The evenings were spent enjoying some great entertainment from both outside performers and the entertainment team who are always on good form. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout all parts of the hotel.
We will be back soon.

Our third visit, gets better each time. The quality of service, range of activities and overall holiday feel made our week superb. Pools, bars and eateries were amazing. First time at the Spa, can highly recommend it, very professional. This visit was three generational…we all had the best of times. Thank you!

First class service from all of the staff who are a credit to your team. I’ve been staying over 30 years, I have been made to feel very welcome as this was my first visit after the loss of my wife in April. Grandson loved swimming and the children’s entertainment.

A very soothing, reviving experience. The steam room is fantastic with a cold shower tap that adds to the experience. The hot stone beds are so relaxing… Came out feeling refreshed and brand new!

We had a lovely spa weekend at the TLH Carlton. It was very good value for money to receive a night stay, spa day with treatment and including dinner and breakfast. Staff were all friendly and food was lovely too. The spa facilities are amazing and we had a comfortable clean bedroom. Thank you for a lovely stay and I would definitely come back again.

We have just returned from a thoroughly relaxing break at The Carlton Hotel. The children had a great time at the 3 pools and games room and we enjoyed listening to the music in the bar each evening. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday.

I just loved every minute staying at Toorak hotel with my daughter, so I booked again to comeback with my friend. We felt like abroad with all facilities provided. Wonderful hotel to stay in with the family. It was my granddaughter’s first holiday and she loved being in the swimming pool.

This was our third visit to the TLH Toorak Hotel. The staff are always so friendly and the quality of the food, particularly the evening 3 course meal was excellent as ever!

Brilliant staff who made our stay perfect, nothing was too much trouble and as for the Aztec Spa, the Fire & Ice is just outstanding. Great value for money, I will be booking a longer stay next time as I did not want to leave so soon. Lovely hotel, clean and pleasant staff for whom nothing was too much trouble.

We have been coming to the TLH resort since 1997, we have at least one break here every year but usually two. We enjoy everything that’s on offer. We particularly love the wonderful food and have always had great service. Hopefully we will be coming for many more years.

My husband and I come to the Derwent 2 to 3 times a year, in all that time we have never found fault in any part of our stay. The room, food and entertainment have always been fabulous and very good value for money. It is our “go to” holiday place.

We had a fantastic stay from the moment we arrived to the departure, the staff were excellent very welcoming and caring in all departments. This was our first time at the Carlton hotel but hopefully not the last. Plenty to do games etc, swimming and a lot more. The entertainment was excellent in the evening. Prices were very good in the bars and shop. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. We hope to return again one day. Thanks again to all the staff for such a wonderful break.

We’ve been going to Torquay every year since my sister and I were toddlers. It’s one of the most incredible places and we enjoy our stay every time! This year was just as special and all the staff worked so effortlessly. Thank you TLH for making Torquay our second home.

We have visited this hotel twice now in the last year and it’s absolutely perfect for us. The views to the riviera are amazing and it’s just a 15 minute walk to the harbour. We loved the swimming pools, the outdoor Aztec bar and the evening entertainment. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

This was our first visit to the TLH Derwent Hotel. What a great bowls tournament – so well organised, and everyone was very friendly and all matches were played in a sporting manner. Thank you for a lovely weekend and we hope to be back again soon.

The TLH resort is always spotlessly clean throughout and with the English Rivera on its doorstep to explore, it is the perfect place to be!

Hi we stayed for my wife’s 50th and had a great time. Entertainment was good, food was good and the staff were excellent – nothing was too much.

We have been staying at TLH for the past 14 years, sometimes twice or three times a year. It simply cannot be beaten for value for money, we now feel like it’s our second home! The facilities are amazing, the food is truly wonderful with plenty of choice for children and the staff are friendly and helpful. Every break has given us wonderful memories to treasure as a family and that’s why we keep on coming back for more!

We have been coming to TLH and staying at the Derwent for the past 17 years. It’s like a 2nd home – we always get a warm welcome from the Teams and feel like they are our extended family. Our children have know the complex layout so well that they are comfortable doing their own thing, but feeling very safe doing so.

We holiday at various times of the year and it’s a wonderful family experience we all look forward to whether it’s the 10, 20, 50, 70 or 80 year olds!

My daughter and myself enjoyed a weekend spa break from 4-6th June. We stayed at the TLH Toorak Hotel and had treatments in the spa on both days. We felt very safe with the Covid procedures in place and enjoyed using the pool and gym which were easy to book. All the staff were very helpful.

This was our first visit we stayed at the Victoria Hotel. Very pleased with the room we had a disabled room for my in laws as requested. Our room right next door had a fabulous view to the sea & access to the outside garden area with seating. The dining room decor was lovely, the staff were so attentive & welcoming too. The food was lovely lots of choice & nice & hot. The hotel was in walking distance of the town so we had a lovely afternoon of retail therapy. 🛍️ We didn’t use the pool & spa but wished we had as it looked amazing. We will definitely be back thankyou for a wonderful stay.

We had an amazing time celebrating our wedding party with family and friends. The buffet was really good and everyone enjoyed it. Everything went brilliant we are very happily married and looking forward to many years together.

TLH Carlton Hotel, what an amazing place to stay, complete with indoor, outdoor pools and a spa, need I say more! Yes, fun for children too and also evening entertainment, you don’t even need to leave this resort if it’s bad weather, everything on site and comprising of four hotels making one very large complex.

Had a lovely couple of days staying at the TLH Toorak Hotel. The highlight of our stay was definitely our spa treatments. Made to feel very special and was really relaxing and enjoyable. Would def recommend!

We got married at the Toorak hotel in August and I must say it was such a lovely venue, we got married outside which made the whole day even more beautiful. Our wedding planner Marc was amazing, he was there all day and made sure our day ran smoothly with no issues. The food was out of this world, what a perfect stress free day, thank you so much to the Toorak hotel for making our day so special and perfect!

Husband and it’s well worth the money! You leave feeling so relaxed and your body well rested. Was a lovely peaceful break away to spend quality mum and daughter time together.

Just got back from a fantastic spa break with 5 friends, we had 2 lovely treatments. The food was great and the entertainment was fantastic. We had a fun filled 3 days and we will definitely be returning.

A large group of us went to TLH in September 2019. We had such a fantastic weekend with Ballroom dance tuition with the Fleetwoods and they were so great to work with. They were the perfect hosts and our group had such a great time, many rebooked whilst still there. I hope we will be back soon, with an even bigger group, to enjoy the dancing and tuition again.

We have stayed at the TLH Derwent Hotel for many years now and we feel that every time we stay it couldn’t get any better but we are wrong! From booking in by the friendly receptionist staff, room service, waiters and waitresses in the restaurant and an excellent entertainment team, it made our holiday complete.

I stayed in the TLH Toorak Hotel for three nights. My daughter had her wedding reception there so the staff made sure all of our rooms were together with a shared balcony. They did everything they could to make our stay one to remember. From the staff in reception to the housekeeping staff, thank you so much for making us feel so welcome. What a fabulous stay we’ve had at TLH Toorak Hotel. Lovely room, great breakfast and dinner choices. The animal handling experience for children was truly excellent. I wasn’t expecting to hold a tarantula! Superb value and I would thoroughly recommend it.

I found that all your staff went out of their way to be helpful, particularly those in Reception. Sarah the bowls co-ordinator was her usual, helpful, organised self. We will be back!

The Fire and Ice experience was incredible! I feel like a whole load of anxiety has been removed and my aches and pains have gone. What can I say? Everything about the fire and ice experience yesterday was out of this world! This was my first spa visit and I would definitely highly recommend it! We will definitely be coming back. The atmosphere, staff and cleanliness were incredible.

I had a lovely few days at the Victoria Hotel with KB Sounds, the entertainment was amazing and we made many friends, we’ve already booked for next year!

Had such a lovely mini break. We stayed in the apartments in the TLH Victoria and the boys loved it! Fun in the arcades one minute from our room, Daddy was happy with Warhammer in the machine too! Lovely dinner in the Bistro with a play in the park and live music! It made me feel like we were on a UK Majorcan holiday! The boys loved the buffet breakfast and most of all, the park and bouncy castle before we left for Occombe farm. Only away for the weekend but crammed lots in to feel like a proper mini-break!

My second visit to the Toorak after years of staying at the Derwent. Holidaying alone now, I think it suits me better and this break was really enjoyable. Facilities, staff, food and entertainment were all spot on …. My thanks to all concerned.

TLH Leisure Resort is great for dance holidays, family holidays and getting away with friends also for meeting new people who are away on holiday to enjoy themselves. Great fun, games and entertainment never a dull moment. Fantastic value plus good food and service.

My husband and I spent a week at the TLH Carlton Hotel. We were there early for the Northern soul weekender and wanted to say that the management should be so proud of their staff. They were so friendly, so helpful, you could tell the staff in the dining room were really pleased to be serving you and that it wasn’t just a job. Our rooms were cleaned every day, some days they were done while we were in breakfast. Well done everyone and hope to see you next year.

I thought the Derwent Hotel was amazing, the staff were lovely and polite the breakfast was lush always fresh and hot. It was a lovely stay for two nights, the pool area was always clean and tidy, I love this place and would recommend people to come here. The activities are great as well and so is the entertainment.

If you are looking for somewhere simply stunning for your wedding I really do recommend this beautiful hotel. The staff will give you the most support and ensure your day goes exactly how you want it to. I honestly cannot fault a single thing about our wedding and also the build up to our day was amazing.

For the first time ever my wife and I decided to go away for Christmas. We had stayed at the Toorak on a couple of occasions so knew the kind of service to expect. However, our expectations were exceeded. The Toorak, indeed all four hotels certainly generated the Christmas spirt. It was so nice being spoiled for our four day break at a time when it is normally us trying to spoil others.

I thoroughly enjoyed my one-night break. Living locally, I often make the most of the special offers regularly received after I signed up to their email newsletter. As usual, all staff were dressed smart and professional in all departments. I stayed at the TLH Victoria Hotel on this occasion. The new partly covered outside Aztec patio area was amazing. With the lovely weather, view and location, you could have been staying in any area abroad. I’m looking forward to the regular off-season Festive Breaks at TLH soon.

We love this hotel and have stayed there four years in a row. The location is perfect. It’s  near to the sea and shops, has pretty grounds, the staff are amazing and the food is delicious. We always stay at the TLH Toorak Hotel and enjoy their annual Boogaloo music weekends.

My thanks to all the staff at the Derwent Hotel, the family had a great holiday last week. The Hotel was spotless as usual it was the first visit for my grandchildren the other three in the group have all been before, I will be back again in January with my two sons this time at the Toorak, once again my thanks to everyone.

We have enjoyed our bowling competitions at TLH Leisure Resort. We have stopped in both the TLH Derwent and TLH Toorak Hotels and both are good value for money. The food is excellent and the bowling competitions are well organised. We hope to return very soon.

We have been to TLH on two occasions. We absolutely love the place. Friendly staff, great facilities and delicious food. We are coming again in October and we are all really looking forward to that. I fully recommend TLH to anyone. Can’t wait to see you all again.

A pleasant stay with amazing staff! I enjoyed my stay so much, that I am making arrangements for another visit in September.

We recently organised a well-being event and I could not fault the service that we received. Duncan and his team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and budget, providing the special touches and attention to detail that made the event run smoothly. Coupling this with the fabulous room, views, surroundings and food, we could not have asked for more…you truly made it a pleasurable day and an easy event to organise.

We stayed at the TLH Derwent Hotel over the February half term and had an amazing time! We’ve been coming to TLH for many years and will continue coming, as we always have a fantastic time.
