TLH Leisure Resort is excited to launch Torquay’s newest luxury spa experience, Aztec Spa Fire & Ice.
At the centre of our resort, the luxury thermal suite is the final part of a multi-million pound development and enhances our already popular five treatment room ELEMIS Spa and existing Aztec Leisure facilities.
We are immensely proud of this new facility and it confirms our commitment to the future of tourism in the Bay. We know the wellbeing sector is a huge growth area and our Fire & Ice thermal suite supports our desire to offer a holistic, relaxing and rejuvenating luxury experience both to our guests and the local market. Working with local architects and tradespeople from the initial concept, right through to the final build, we’re proud to say this new facility was made by local people, for local people.

Multisensory Thermal Suite
The multisensory thermal suite is designed to stimulate all the senses, whilst helping your body to relax and detoxify. As an adult-only experience, it can be enjoyed with friends, loved ones or as a retreat for individuals who need some zen in their lives.
Based on ancient bathing rituals, where the body is treated using a series of hot and cooling experiences, Fire & Ice can be booked as a standalone experience or as an addition to spa treatments and spa days. The suite includes an 8 person hydropool, herbal sauna, Finnish sauna, aroma steam room, drench bucket, ice fountain, thermal shower experience, heated loungers and zen relaxation area.
Key Worker Discount
As an introductory offer, the Aztec Spa is offering a 50% discount on a 90 minute Fire & Ice session to all keyworkers, until the 31st March 2022. Jason Garside adds, ‘This simple gesture is our way of saying a huge ‘thank you’ to the hundreds of keyworkers who have worked tirelessly during the pandemic.’

Beginning in the early 2000s, with a vision of creating an amazing leisure facility for guests and locals alike, excavation took place to make way for building works to commence. Although our Aztec Club & Spa became hugely popular, the development was never quite finished until now. The final addition of Aztec Spa Fire & Ice has completed a 20-year vision and provides our guests and residents of Torbay with another fantastic facility to enjoy.
