Our Top 5 Easter Events for kids in Torquay

Torquay is packed full of activities taking place over the Easter holidays and they’re all within easy reach of TLH Leisure Resort! If you’re looking for things to do during Easter and will be visiting Torquay, you’re sure to find something eggciting and eggsilerating to do, whether that be indoors, outdoors or underground! We’ve listed our top 5 Easter events and things to do with the kids during the Easter holidays.

Easter EGGSTRAVAGANZA at Becky Falls!

A wonderful array of activities are planned, including our Eggsellent Quiz for children of all ages – find the answers around the park. There’s a prize for every child who takes part which includes a go on the tombola to win Easter eggs galore!

As always, there are hands-on animal encounter shows and meet the keeper sessions. Twice daily in the Animal Encounter Room get up close to some of our friendly residents. Who will you meet today? They could be furry, scaly or even have 8 legs! No session is the same. As well as meet the keeper sessions throughout the day. Not forgetting the children’s stamp trail, where every child wins a prize, and there are Explorer Backpacks available to borrow to help young explorers really discover the woodland.

The Great Big Dinosaur Hunt

CALLING ALL DINOSAUR HUNTERS!! The Dino-Bunny has dropped dinosaur eggs all over the trail at Occombe Farm! Can you solve the clues to find out which egg belongs to which dinosaur?? Just pick up a clue sheet from the kiosk desk and get hunting! The events run from 8 – 22 April 2019, 10.00am – 3.00pm no booking required. There is a prize for everyone who completes the trail, to avoid disappointed children, this does mean one prize per trail sheet. £2.50 per dinosaur hunt sheet

Please note – access to the nature trail and orchard will be restricted to those participating with this special fundraising event during these dates and times.

Cockington Letterboxing Trail: Spring Secrets

Cockington’s letterboxing trail is back from 6-22 April; this time with a twist for spring! Scout around Cockington park in search of hidden letterboxes. What spring secrets will you find on your adventure? Pick up your packs from the visitor centre (in the village) between 10.00am and 4.00pm and set off on an adventure. It costs £2 per pack and is most suitable for 6yrs and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Pack includes clues and a map to help you find your way, as well as an ink pad to record your visit to each letter box.

Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt at Killerton

Follow the fun Easter trail around the blossoming garden and parkland from 6 April 2019 between the hours of 11.00am and 4.00pm. On your way round, explore winding paths to find the bear’s hut, ice house and chapel. Tuck into a Cadbury chocolate prize at the end. Normal admission fees apply.

Megga Easter Egg Hunt – PLUS MEET Peter Rabbit™!

Go to Crealy Country Park this year and you will be able to meet and greet the mischievous Peter Rabbit himself from 18th – 22nd of April! He will be making personal appearances on the Piazza Stage at intervals on each day – don’t forget your cameras! While you’re at the park, you can take part in our mEGGa Easter egg hunt, where you will be tasked to find all the magical eggs hidden and use your special map to tick off which ones you’ve found. Once you’ve completed the Easter egg hunt, you can head over to Guest Services to claim your very chocolatey, egg-ceptional prize!

It’s going to be super egg-citing, super fun event that is perfect for the whole family! You’ll be silly to egg-nore Crealy this Easter!
