Our Top 5 Easter Events for kids in Torquay

Torquay is packed full of activities taking place over the Easter holidays and they’re all within easy reach of TLH Leisure Resort! If you’re looking for things to do during Easter and will be visiting Torquay, you’re sure to find something eggciting and eggsilerating to do, whether that be indoors, outdoors or underground! We’ve listed our top 5 Easter events and things to do with the kids during the Easter holidays.

Babbacombe Model Village

As they do every year, Babbacombe Model Village will be holding an Easter Egg Trail daily from 29th March to 15th April 2018, 10.00am to 4.00pm. Can you find all the hidden eggs – some may be eggstremely hard to find, but it will be eggscellent if you can find them all. A chocolately treat for all successful young eggsplorers! Come and enjoy the 4 acres of award winning gardens and explore the world in miniature.

Celebrate Easter on Pennywell Farm!

An Eggcellent Easter planned at Pennywell Farm. Put a spring in your step with Easter fun at Pennywell Farm. The farm really comes to life in spring and with so much going on there’s never been a better time to visit. Bonus fun Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Eggtra special! Meet the new arrivals and help bottle feed Easter babies, pond dip for tadpoles, cuddle pigs and pets and cheer on this seasons racing pigs at 2:30. Plus a full line-up of top notch entertainment with 2 Big Shows daily. Poco Drom is playing (30th, 31st March, 1st, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th) acoustic singalongs concerning all things wild and wounderful, loved by children and their grown-ups. Elfic the Jester is here (3rd, 10th, 15th April) with his uni-cycle, quick wit and a pinch of danger! The gentleman juggler Matt Pang will be entertaining your socks off (4th, 5th) and Britian’s got talent Semi-Finalist Mr. Phil will crack you up (2nd, 9th).

Game Goer Gun Dogs will be wowing you with working dog displays throughout the day on 6th April and you can meet the furry stars of the show too.

All this plus activities, 4 FREE rides (tractors, train and Go Karts), crazy golf, maze and tower, hundreds of friendly animals to meet, cuddle and feed and acres of indoor and outdoor play areas to explore. Pennywell is guaranteed to be a full day of fun!

Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt at Killerton

Follow the fun Easter trail around the blossoming garden and parkland from 30 March – 15 April 2018 between the hours of 11.00am and 4.00pm. On your way round, explore winding paths to find the bear’s hut, ice house and chapel. Tuck into a Cadbury chocolate prize at the end. Normal admission fees apply.

Eggstreme Easter at Woodlands

Get ready for an Eggstreme Easter at Woodlands Theme Park, Devon! With the UK’s No 1 Easter Bunny Grotto! Running from Friday 30th March – Monday 2nd April 2018 the Woodlands Easter Bunny has been joined by loads of NEW and exciting friends for an action packed weekend!

Cockington Explorer Backpacks

Make your way to Cockington Park this Easter and go on an adventure with your little explorers! Borrow a backpack full of things to do & look for in the park. This event takes place from 30th March – 13th April 2018 at 11.00-15.00 dialy. Meet at the Cockington Visitor Centre and collect your back pack. The trail costs £2 (+ £10 returnable deposit) and there are packs suitable for under 4-11 year olds. There are only 10 packs available so make sure you get there nice and early!
