We’ve listed our top 5 Easter events and things to do with the kids during the Easter holidays.

Babbacombe Model Village – Easter Egg Trail

Eggsplore the miniature scenes & gardens and see if you can find all the hidden eggs, but don’t go hopping through the park too fast as some may be eggstremely hard to find! It will be eggscellent if you can find all 20.  Children eggsplorers will get a chocolatey treat if successful!  Also, pick up a free fun activity leaflet for the family to take home.

The Great Big Brick Safari

From the end of March 2020, Paignton Zoo will be home to over 80 giant wild animal models made from over 1 million LEGO® bricks! From a giant gorilla, a jumbo size elephant and a majestic lion, to marvellous macaws, beautiful butterflies and a cool crocodile, these stunning LEGO® brick animals will form The Great Big Brick Safari Trail for visitors to follow around the zoo. Visit their website for full details.

Easter Egglow at Kents Cavern

What’s that glowing in the cave? Is it a torch? Is it a lantern? No, it’s an Egg! But how many can you find hiding in the cave? Visit the caves this holiday for Easter Egglow, a brand new event for 2020. See spectacular illuminations as one of their fantastic guides leads you through the cave. See how many glowing eggs you can find as you go and you might just earn yourself a seasonal treat!  Tickets can be purchased on their website.

Cockington Spring Letterboxing Trail

Can you work out the clues and find your way to all the letterboxes hidden around the park. A great fun challenge for all the family! Easter Extravaganza at Becky Falls

Becky Falls have a wonderful array of activities planned, including an Eggsellent Quiz for children of all ages – find the answers around the park. There’s a prize for every child who takes part which includes a go on the tombola to win Easter eggs galore!

As always, there are hands-on animal encounter shows and meet the keeper session. Twice daily in the Animal Encounter Room get up close to some of their friendly residents. Who will you meet today? They could be furry, scaly or even have 8 legs! No session is the same. As well as meet the keeper sessions throughout the day. Not forgetting the children’s stamp trail, where every child wins a prize, and there are Explorer Backpacks available to borrow to help young explorers really discover the woodland.
