PATH Torbay

18 October 2023

Here at TLH, we are keen to support local charities and often do so for a variety of causes. As one of the biggest employers in the area, it feels good to give something back to the community. Recently, we have decided that nominating a speicfic charity to help is a good way to concentrate our efforts. It ensures we can give as much coverage and support as we can. For the next 12 months, we have nominated PATH Torbay as our local charity to support.

PATH Torbay is a local community, non profit charity, run and supported by volunteers. PATH Torbay helps people who find themselves homeless, as well as individuals and families who are at risk of homelessness, vulnerable or in crisis. They also offer support to individuals and families in food poverty across Torbay. PATH provides a food bank, evening hot food and supplies. It is also part of the Torbay Food Alliance and works in partnership with all other food banks in our local area. FIND OUt MORE ABOUT PATH TORBAY HERE

We recently spent time with the organisers getting to know how the charity runs, the history and how they started, understanding different campaigns they have running and lots more.
