1. Torre Abbey Historic House and Gardens

It was founded in 1196 a monastery for Premonstratensian canons, and is now the best-preserved medieval monastery in Devon and Cornwall. 2. Round Robin

The award-winning Round Robin trip is one of the best day excursions in South Devon! You will visit the quaint towns of Paignton, Dartmouth and Totnes travelling on a steam train, a river boat and a bus.

Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller was born on 15 September 1890 in Torquay, Devon. She is known for her 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections, particularly those revolving around her fictional detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. In the English Riviera, you can retrace the steps of the world’s best-selling author along Torquay’s seafront beginning just a few minutes walk from TLH Leisure Resort. Built in 1926, the Babbacombe Cliff Railway links Babbacombe Downs with Oddicombe Beach. It has shuttled hundreds of thousands of holiday makers to and from Oddicombe Beach in over 90 years of service.

9. Princess Theatre

The Princess Theatre in Torquay, England is a 1,500 seat theatre that first opened its doors on Wednesday 7 June 1961. The Theatre is owned and operated by Torbay Council, it’s the oldest working Theatre in Torbay and has recently undergone major refurbishment.

Over the years the Princess Theatre has seen a wide variety of entertainment including comedians, musicals and West End shows and of course the pantomime for all the family.
